Senior Vice President and Head of Americas Organization

John Trobough joins Teleca from Sylantro Systems as senior vice president of solutions, overseeing all aspects of product development, product management and life cycle management, including the creation and definition of Sylantro’s end-to-end solutions. John is a wireless industry veteran, who most recently served as vice president of Openwave Systems’ mobile infrastructure and solutions business unit, where he was responsible for product management, product marketing and field product management. John also was CEO & co founder of Gravitate Inc., a wireless software company in the commercial middleware space which was acquired in 2001. A graduate of Washington State University with a BA in business administration and an active Advisory Board member to the University, John is a frequent speaker at industry events such as CTIA and 3GSM.

As Head of the America’s Organization, John draws on his ability to create, lead and inspire teams across new industry segments, geographies, cultures and functions. He will help our customers profit from attractive new services that are delivered with a shorter time-to-market, economies of scale with a view toward new innovations.

John joined Teleca in 2009.
