While Teleca's offshore site in Russia with its 1000 consultants has been offering a broad variety of services at significant scale to our customers for years, our sites in India, China and Poland are now also growing rapidly.
We opened our Indian office in August 2008 and the ramp-up of the site is going at full speed. Customer audits have been performed and Teleca India has started working on their first customer projects. The plan is to grow to 50 employees by the end of the year and to 300 by the end of 2009. With a technology focus on Symbian/S60 and Linux, the Teleca India offerings include:

Growing services in China
Teleca China is a critical part of Teleca’s growth strategy with its two sites; the customer center in Beijing and the outsourcing center in Chengdu. In 2008 Teleca China has doubled its engineering force to 200 and further growth to 400+ engineers over the next two years is expected.
With a technology focus on Microsoft Windows Mobile, Symbian/S60, Nokia S40, and Open Source (Linux) the Teleca China offerings include:

Symbian excellence nearshore
Teleca started a nearshore development center in Łódź, Poland in 2007. In one year the engineering team increased from 3 to 95 engineers working with mobile technologies including Symbian/S60, Linux and Microsoft Windows Mobile.
Teleca puts a lot of effort into strengthening the competencies in its Polish site. We were the first Polish company to provide formal Symbian training to employees and pass the Accredited Symbian Developer certification exams. In 2008 we expect to have 35 engineers certified by Symbian as proficient and professional software developers. The program will continue in 2009 and should double the number of certifications.
Teleca is also a facilitator of the first Polish Symbian Academy at the Technical University of Łódź, which provides training to the students on mobile technologies with the focus on programming for Symbian and S60. The faculty has been very successful and is becoming a full post-graduate program in 2009.
