Teleca paves the way for CDMA handset vendors to get into Android
We have undertaken a project to extend the Android platform to support CDMA radio technology. This enables handset manufacturers to build CDMA handsets based on Android and gives CDMA carriers the chance to enjoy the differentiation and benefits that Android handsets bring.

Eye on Mobile World Congress 2009
It was very much a show about the big “C”s, Consolidation and Convergence, with several new entities making their first appearances such as STEricsson and Symbian Foundation.

Teleca is now privately owned
Teleca is delisted from the Stockholm Stock Exchange from March 2nd 2009. You may wonder why this has happened. Don’t worry. Teleca is in good shape and in good hands with our new owner, the Symphony Technology Group. Teleca entered 2009 with a positive cash flow and a leaner focus.

Teleca and TAT become partners
Teleca and TAT partner to combine the best of aesthetics and technology on mobile UIs. Hello Symbian Foundation
It was a goodbye to the old Symbian and a fresh re-launch for the Symbian Foundation at MWC. And when the Symbian Foundation’s new website opens in early April along with plans for code release to Foundation members, Teleca is well prepared to support it. “There are opportunities in developing service offerings in the ecosystem.” Says Chandra Challagonda, responsible for Telecas Symbian solution offerings.
