2007
Teleca restructures to secure its position as the world's leading supplier of solutions and services to the mobile device industry. Teleca Russia passes 1000 employees, a new offshore centre is set up in China, and Teleca Poland increases its staff. Teleca concentrates on its core business of offering solutions and services and halts investments in the Obigo product suite.
2006
Teleca sells Benima to Ångpanneföreningen and reorganizes its divisions into Teleca Mobile and auSystems. Teleca acquires Russia's leading consulting company Telma Soft, which specializes in mobile phone development.
2005
New version of the Obigo software suite is launched. Launch of a number of group-wide systems and processes, including a new customer support system, aimed at improving customer service and supporting margin improvement.
2004
Teleca sharpens its focus on development centers in low-cost areas by opening a new office in Lodz in Poland.
2003
International strategy pays off, with strong growth and firm relationships with major international customers. Number of employees in the Group rises to 2,700.
2002
Merger between Teleca and AU-System takes the number of employees in the Group to approx. 2,200. Teleca signs R&D outsourcing agreements with Ericsson in France
and Norway. New subsidiary established to run Obigo operations.
2001
Sigma AB is spun off into three companies. Sigma AB is renamed Teleca AB and incorporates Sigma's former business area Embedded Solutions. Two new companies, Sigma AB and Epsilon AB, are distributed to shareholders and listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. After the spin-off, Teleca has approximately 1,200 employees.
