Business Conduct Guidelines

The reputation of our Group and the trust and confidence of our customers, employees, subcontractors and other stakeholders is decisive for the continued success of our business. Our relationships with these stakeholders and our day-to-day business shall be guided by Teleca’s values.  Our Business Conduct Guidelines, which are based on our values, sets out the principles that govern how we do business and our collective responsibilities towards the company’s stakeholders.

Teleca Values and Business Conduct Guidelines were introduced and discussed with managers during the summer 2007, and communicated to all Teleca staff in Q3 2007. Teleca Values together with Business Conduct Guidelines set the standard for expected behavior and ethics while doing business in Teleca. Teleca Values is an important part of the transformation to a global company with common values and ethics in everything we do.

The Business Conduct Guidelines:

  • has been set down to emphasize the basic principles that guide Teleca’s operations.
  • shall guide the daily business of Teleca employees in their relations with other employees, customers, suppliers and shareholders.
  • establishes not only that Teleca’s response to international and national laws and regulations is one of compliance, but also that these laws set the minimum standards for our actions.
  • implies that Teleca and its employees shall act as responsible participants within the company’s areas of operation in the building of a sustainable society.

It therefore follows that Teleca encourages suppliers, agents, consultants and other business partners to adhere to these principles within their sphere of influence. These principles shall also be applied when assessing current and potential partners.

The Business Conduct Guidelines applies to the Board of Directors as well as all employees at Teleca. All employees at Teleca are required to read and confirm their observance of the Business Conduct Guidelines. Employees are also encouraged to report any conduct that they believe, in good faith, to be a violation of laws or the Business Conduct Guidelines to their manager or in accordance with locally established procedures. Reports of potential violations of law or Company policies and procedures may also be made anonymously at any time by emailing/calling Group Legal Function. All reports of possible violations will be investigated and resolved as appropriate. No individual will suffer retaliation for reporting in good faith any violations of law or these standards. Any violation may be subject to stringent disciplinary action based on the corporate rules and/or job contracts of each company.
