Kristian Jönsson 

Vice President and General Counsel 

Kristian Jönsson has extensive experience as a company lawyer in multinational groups. He has served as a judge in Swedish courts and as a legal adviser at the Ministry of Finance.

Born in 1964, Kristian graduated from the University of Lund in 1991. In addition to his Swedish law degree he has studied law in England and France.

Kristian joined the Swedish court system in 1991. He has served as a judge in City Courts and in the Appeal Court and he was appointed Associate Judge of Appeal in 1997. He has served for one year as a legal adviser at the Swedish Ministry of Finance (Financial Institutions and Markets).

Kristian has approximately ten years of experience as a company lawyer at international companies, most recently Metso Minerals and previously the Trelleborg Group and the Alfa Laval Group.

As a company lawyer Kristian has been involved in a wide variety of matters in many fields of law in a truly international environment. He has been giving advice on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, litigation management, trade regulations, competition law, product liability, intellectual property law, land law, sale and lease-back arrangements for real property, contracts for large industrial projects and commercial law in general. He has been giving seminars on Complex Business Transactions.

Kristian is the President of the Swedish Company Lawyers Association.

He joined Teleca as General Counsel in 2007.
