We are successfully running blended services projects across the world, delivering high value; they offer you the expertise you need – at a competitive price. Teleca Russia, our first offshore office, acquired in 2006 and formerly known as Telma Soft, specializes in the development of embedded software for wireless cellular communications, has successfully completed more than 400 software development and testing projects since 1991. Customers include several world-leading IT companies. Today, there are 1,000 skilled engineers who can handle projects, either run locally or acting as one of many sites. Teleca Russia is one of the top 100 IT companies in Russia; it was also the first Russian company to successfully pass the SEI CMM Assessment for Level 5. Teleca has continued to build on its outsourcing success in more locations. In 2007, we have opened an APAC Outsourcing Center in Chengdu, China, and a European nearshore center – in close proximity to customers, but still cost-efficient – in Lodz, Poland. The APAC Outsourcing Center in Chengdu site will expand to 300 engineers over the next two years; it will provide direct service to local customers in China as well as providing blended services sold and led by Teleca operations across the world. Key skills focus in the APAC outsourcing center will include Windows Mobile, Linux, Symbian and S60. Initial projects were started there in July 2007. We expect that our nearshore center in Lodz, which offers software development, maintenance and testing, will see plenty of expansion in the near future. |
