Dear Obigo Products Customer,
In spring 2007 Teleca announced that we would reduce our activity around the Obigo product line and eventually move out of this business all together, focusing entirely on our consulting activities.

As part of this transition we reduced our product portfolio to focus on Browser and MMS and we transferred all support, maintenance and feature enhancement activities to our R&D team in Teleca Korea.

This transition has been extremely successful, and over the past 18 months we have been able to support all our existing clients, win new ones and also successfully ship the new Q7 full-web Browser to operators worldwide.

The time is right now for us to complete our stated intentions and move out of the Obigo Product business fully. I am pleased to announce that we have agreed to sell the Obigo product business to a Management Buyout team led by David Hwang, the current MD of Teleca Korea. David and his management team will continue to develop, promote and support Obigo products. The MBO team has financial backing from a strong group of Korean investors.

As part of this transaction we will transfer all relevant Obigo product technology including Browser and MMS. The staff of Teleca Korea and relevant staff in Taiwan and China involved in sales and support of Obigo products will also be part of this transaction. Teleca will retain a shareholding in this company for the time being.

We are confident that with these changes, and the increased investment in Obigo planned by David and his team, you will receive even greater value for your business.

Our presence in Asia has been growing steadily over the last 2 years, especially in China where we now have more than 150 engineers providing technical services to our customers worldwide. We will continue to actively sell our services in Asia with a direct local presence in Korea and China and sales coverage in other locations such as Taiwan, coming from our Asia sales headquarters in Beijing.
